The Journey So Far...
My journey began in England as a small child. My family immigrated to South Africa, where I was educated.
A surprising jaunt on holiday to Australia led to an unplanned migration to Aotearoa, first to Rotorua, then down south. Living in Ōtepoti and attending art school has been a transformative experience which has allowed me to hone my skills in creating and remaking. And so, here I am!
Meet The Maker & Collector
From the early age of five, constructing imaginary houses from discarded tissue boxes, a passion for creation and resourcefulness took root.
This childhood fascination blossomed into a lifelong pursuit of transforming the old into something new, and seeking out the wonderfully peculiar. Years spent immersed in the art of reuse have led to the creation of diverse items, from reimagined clothing and charming doll lamps, to unique planters and cozy tealight holders.
Not Your Nana is the culmination of this enduring enthusiasm - an ethos where the beauty of the past and inthe ingenuity of handmade artistry intertwine

Based in the vibrant city of Dunedin, New Zealand, Not Your Nana is the passion project of a creative nana (yes, a proud grandmother of 5!) who has a lifelong love for making and collecting.
